The friendliness of the host, the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had everything you needed for a pleasant meal. We also liked the restaurant and the pool.
It was a great place to stay with a nice pool.
Firstly we appreciated a friendly welcome coupled with a room upgrade. We were also very grateful with the host's explanation of the wines and meal available.
The hotel is old fashioned but all lovely and clean. For me it was like stepping back in time to a hotel in spain I used to stay in with my parents. The guy in reception who I later found out was the owner was a really nice helpful chap. Motorbikes were safe in the car park

Excellent all around, friendly staff, great service and lovely food.
A lovely hotel with really nice friendly staff. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast was included. When we checked in we were given a room upgrade with a fabulous view from the balcony. The room was spotless. The real bonus was a swimming pool outside near our room.

Location and cleanliness
Hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Views over the Serra da Estrela from our balcony and panoramic restaurant did not disappoint. Breakfast included which was buffet style and had a very good selection. Plenty of onsite parking. Enjoyed our reasonably priced evening meal at the hotel.
